Welcome to the official Gospel Music Honors page! We're delighted to present the much-anticipated 2023 "Lake Area" Gospel Music Honors. An event that transcends beyond melodies, it's where faith meets legacy, and where voices of yesterday and today come alive.

Since 1996, we've been at the forefront of recognizing and celebrating the luminaries of Gospel music. These esteemed individuals, from seasoned veterans to rising talents, have tirelessly dedicated themselves to preserving and innovating the rich and soulful message of Gospel music.

This year, join us on Saturday, December 9th, at 5:47 p.m. at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. We are set to honor a distinguished list of contributors, including Pastor Shirley Williams Albert, Rosalyn Frank, Minister Trennis Ford, Nicholas Johnson, Connie Major, Josiah Simien, Duane Terry, The Word of Hope Family Worship Center Worship and Arts Ministry, and more.

As we come together in unity and celebration, attendees will not only witness the honoring of these influential voices but will also be treated to an evening filled with dynamic musical performances, stirring testimonials, and an ambiance that exudes reverence and joy.
